A foam bulge enhancer.

Packing is the act of using prosthetics or other products in order to create a bulge, to make it appear that one has a penis. The prosthetic is called a packer or packy.

There are numerous products for packing on the market, all of which provide various functions.

Soft Packing[]

"Soft" packers are simply non-erect devices, meaning they cannot be used for sexual activity. These include things like socks or foam bulge enhancers in addition to prosthetics. Some soft prosthetics provide STP function as well.

Hard Packing[]

"Hard" packers, also known as "pack-n-play", are packers that provide the appearance of an erect phallus. Some have a malleable rod that allows the user to switch the angle and/or direction.

STP[]

STP, or Stand to Pee, means the prosthetic provides the ability for the user to urinate while standing. Note that not all prosthetics have this function, nor are all STP devices packers. Some prosthetics can be modified to provide this function.

Two-in-One[]

Also written as "2-n-1", two-in-one prosthetics include a malleable rod to provide both soft and hard packing, some of which are removable.

Three-in-One[]

Also written as "3-n-1", three-in-one prosthetics provide the same as the two-in-one devices, with the addition of STP function.

Four-in-One[]

Also written as "4-n-1", four-in-one prosthetics provide the same as the three-in-one devices, with the addition of a pleasure stimulation function for the wearer.

Packing devices[]

Packing devices are products used to assist packing. These items hold the packer in place for hands-free usage. Most of these products are modified versions of other items to keep the packer in place.

  • Harnesses made for dildos can also function as a packing device, depending on the harness and packer. Some harnesses are made for specific packers.
  • Jockstraps or underwear, usually modified with pouches, or O-rings similarly to a harness. Briefs, if tight enough, can sometimes hold packers in place.
  • Strapless packing is achieved with a dildo or packer, usually a dildo, that is either inserted into the vagina at the back end and held in using vaginal muscles, or with an adhesive applied to a packer attached at the vulva.
